NYC and NJ were amazing! Every day was an adventure.
I arrived last tuesday, and caught the train into the city then hopped the subway up to 116th and crashed with my friend Deanna aka KaleNagasaki. She is quite the sweetheart for putting me up.
Wednesday I began my exploration. I wandered from 116th down to Zuccotti park stopping at all sorts of different parks, businesses and other sights to see. Central Park was interesting. I guess Times Square would be interesting if I was going to a play or something, but otherwise it was mostly just shiny and lots of flashing lights. ZzzzZZZZzzzz. B&H Photo was....well they were lucky I left willingly. I jokingly told friends that there would be lines scratched into the floor from my fingernails as they would have to try to drag me out. I put 7.5 miles down just in that first leg of the trip which was a great plan, because since I walked that large a section of the west part of Manhattan it made it super easy to find different locations aft
